Danial Ali Akbari

Danial Ali Akbari holds a PhD in Economics at Lund University from 2021. Danial is a theoretical and computational macroeconomist. His research focuses on growth theory, labor dynamics, inequality, technological change and the social cost of carbon. As such his research encompasses broadly both social and environmental aspects of sustainability.

Hans-Peter Bermin

Hans-Peter Bermin holds a PhD in  Mathematical Finance from Lund University and he is a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at the Hilbert Group, working within Algorithmic Trading of Digital Assets. 

Jimmy Carlsson

Jimmy Carlssonholds a MSc in Computer Science from  Blekinge Institute of Technology. Experienced software developer and entrepreneur with a passion for artificial intelligence. Recent years has been completely focused on applying artificial intelligence in financial markets and now runs ValidAlpha, registered systematic fund focusing on applying artificial intelligence on automated trading on the cryptocurrency markets.

Charlotte Christiansen 

Charlotte Christiansen is Professor at the Department of Economics and Business and Research Fellow at CREATES, Center for Research in Econometric Analysis of Time Series funded by the Danish National Research Foundation. 

Valeriia Dzhamalova

Valeriia Dzhamalova have a PhD in Economics from Lund University. Valeriia works at Danske Bank as head of Model Validation team working with Market Risk, Counterparty Credit Risk, ICAAP and Compliance models. Her research interests are corporate finance, capital structure, banks and real effect of financial crisis.

Ulf Erlandsson 

Ulf Erlandsson is currently active in building a total return fixed income fund with the joint goal of achieving attractive returns and environmental impact. Based on his Lund University Ph.D. dissertation Markov Regime Switching in Economic Time-Series (2005), he is also studying various ways to model and predict business and credit cycles. 

Rikard Green 

Rikard Green have a PhD in Economics from Lund University. His research interest is in mathematical finance with applications to energy markets, in particular, valuation of derivatives and risk in power markets and related fuel markets.

Ai-Jun Hou

Ai Jun Hou is an assistant professor at Stockholm Business School since Fall 2013, and the director of the Master programme in Banking. Research interests are financial econometrics, risk spillover between markets, macro-economics and financial markets and commodity prices.

Dominika Krygier 

Dominika Krygier is an economist at the Financial stability department of Sveriges Riksbank. She obtained her PhD in eEconomics in 2021 at Lund University. Her research interests are in the fields of macro-finance, financial stability and systemic risk. 

Lu Liu 

Lu Liu is Assistant Professor in Finance at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University. She holds PhD in Economics from Lund University. Lu Liu's research focuses on network analysis of financial markets, international finance, and household finance.

Eva Liljeblom

Eva Liljeblom is Professor in Finance at Hanken School of Economics .Research interest been moving from portfolio diversification to corporate finance, especially payout policy, corporate governance, and executive compensation.

 

Veronika Lunina 

Veronika Lunina have a PhD in Economics from Lund University and is now at NatWest Corporates. A quantitative researcher, building a track record of financial markets modelling and implementing quantitative projects, from the idea stage all the way to deployment in production.

Caren Yinxia Nielsen is an Assistant Professor at the Center for Corporate Governance at the Department of Accounting at Copenhagen Business School. Her research is centered at the financial sector,

Naciye Sekerci

Naciye Sekerci is an Assistant Professor of Finance, KU Leuven. She obtained her PhD from Lund University, Sweden. Her research interests broadly lie within the areas of corporate finance and corporate governance.

Martin Strieborny

Martin Strieborny is Lecturer in Corporate Finance and Banking at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow. His research interests include interactions between corporate finance and product markets, cross-border banking, and the role of foreign investors.
